The contribution discusses a recent Conservation Management Plan applied to the system of architectural heritage in Monastero Bormida, Asti (2021-2025). The cultural utility and the consequent collective advantages of applying logical processes of knowledge management for built heritage are increasingly emphasized and discussed within the methodology of Planned and Preventive Conservation because of its procedural and strategic nature. The final goal of ensuring the continuity of knowledge management is to maximize the physical permanence and prevent replacement practices in the considered buildings. The selected case study particularly highlights two strategic aspects: on the one hand, the community awareness and education, and on the other, the experimentation of an adequate information system aimed at describing the assets and managing the availability of a significant amount of information and knowledge to should be implemented and queried over time.

Abstract
The contribution discusses a recent Conservation Management Plan applied to the system of architectural heritage in Monastero Bormida, Asti (2021-2025). The cultural utility and the consequent collective advantages of applying logical processes of knowledge management for built heritage are increasingly emphasized and discussed within the methodology of Planned and Preventive Conservation because of its procedural and strategic nature. The final goal of ensuring the continuity of knowledge management is to maximize the physical permanence and prevent replacement practices in the considered buildings. The selected case study particularly highlights two strategic aspects: on the one hand, the community awareness and education, and on the other, the experimentation of an adequate information system aimed at describing the assets and managing the availability of a significant amount of information and knowledge to should be implemented and queried over time.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
