Organizations in Action

The world of associationism in design today is very diverse, articulate and complex, difficult to represent in a complete and coherent picture. This richness is largely the consequence of the vigorous development of design in recent decades. The growing presence of design within schools and universities, the broadening of the traditional boundaries of the discipline as the number of professionals and sectors involved has increased, and its role in culture and in social and economic dynamics have prompted the construction of increasingly differentiated scientific and professional aggregations with varied and sometimes competing goals.
