This paper shows the results of a research project whose objective is to explore new teaching methodologies through the use of Invention System Kits, that allow to identify learning methods for Industrial Engineering students from Escuela Colombiana de Ingeniería Julio Garavito. Particularly, the intention is to use active learning tools such as Lego Mindstorms EV3 to enhance technological competencies in the students.
