The article investigates the constant relationship between technique and form in the framework of the reconstruction processes after the seismic events that hit the Italian territory. The study addresses the perspectives that the reconstruction presupposes by looking at models, reference standards and constantly updated practices. In this way it configures scenarios in which the technique, often observed as a mere medium of necessity, clashes with the genius loci, the urban and landscape meaning of the project, which is in turn the result of a layered culture of making, split into formal and technical aspects. Through an in-depth observation of a case study from the Marche region, affected by the 2016 earthquake events, it is clear how the sharp snatch of the catastrophe, the industrialization of construction processes, and changing socio-political and economic needs call into question a consolidated relationship between technique and form. The analysis of these phenomena is useful as a moment of reflection for the project, preparing a possible key-reading horizon for a more conscious and "culturally equipped" [L. Dal Pozzolo, 2018] vision of reconstruction interventions.

Abstract
Dal Pozzolo, 2018] vision of reconstruction interventions.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
