Processi di co-design e co-disciplinarità per i contesti urbani fragili | Co-design and co-disciplinary processes for fragile urban contexts

The transition to post-industrial production models has left many former manufacturing cities, such as Turin, a territory empty of functions, deprived and obsolete. The need to rethink them in terms of both infrastructures and services is urgent, furthermore, it can be an opportunity to promote sustainable models from an environmental, social and economic point of view. The post-industrial legacy can be seen and valued as a resource for radical innovation towards more thriving and resilient cities with long-term systemic solutions. In this context, Turin with the Mirafiori Sud district and the ProGIreg project can be a case study because it is part of a journey toward sustainability through the co-design process that involves multiple local actors, with different sensitivities and backgrounds.
