Abstract
Villa Adriana as a paradigm. It is an educational project which constitutes the formalization of an artistic design, that of bringing together in a segment of university education two models that modernity has separated: that of beaux arts derivation and that of a polytechnic system, based on the scientific ideology of knowledge and articulat-ed in the relationship between knowledge and innovation. In the twenty editions of the Prix, the formula of the in situ workshop has always been associated with that of the architecture and museography competition for archeology aimed at university students, involving dozens of part-ner universities and over two thousand and five hundred participants in the previous nineteen editions. This expe-rience has found further development in academic training with the launch of a direct collaboration between the Istituto Autonomo of Villa Adriana and Villa d'Este and the Department of Architecture and Design of the Poly-technic of Turin, aimed at deepening research and teaching topics and strictly connected to the accessibility and sustainable enhancement of this heritage.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
