The publication consist in the reports of Task 3.2 of the H2020 SMARTDEST. It is a general, contextual section covering the political, economic and social situation in 4 case cities including Turin. The report is framed in the Work Package 3 of the project, which aims at analysing mobility-related processes of exclusion in eight case studies and local strategies to tackle them. Moreover, the ecosystems of the destinations are investigated using a multi-method research approach. The issue-focused section on Turin analyses student-related problems, involved stakeholders and mechanisms of coping. Moreover, the authors indicated future methodological strategies that they want to pursue in the empirical research of the following steps of the project.
