SET DI INDICATORI COME STRUMENTO DI INDAGINE DEI FATTORI ABILITANTI IL SUCCESSO DI SEI CASI DI RIGENERAZIONE CULTURALE URBANA

The huge heritage of unused buildings and areas on the Italian territory constitutes one of the main issues of contemporary cities. These artifacts represent an opportunity for economic and social profit, for the reduction of waste and consumption of raw materials, and for the creation of new values for society. In this context, adaptive reuse combined with culture can be a useful and valuable tool to reactivate abandoned sites, areas and buildings, renewing their image and usefulness for society. The aim of the paper is to analyze six Italian cases of cultural urban regeneration characterized by different governance models, low intensity of financial capital and high intensity of cultural and human capital, through a set of indicators with the intention of highlighting which factors fostered or hindered the success of some projects.
