Ogni architettura necessita di un supporto a terra sul quale poggiare, il che comporta una serie di strategie possibili in funzione del modo in cui si realizza la relazione finale tra l’architettura e il piano di terra. In questo contributo l’obiettivo è quello di analizzare tale tipo di relazione, considerando tre diversi aspetti: la necessità pratica di condurre la nostra attività come esseri umani su un piano orizzontale; le trasformazioni che l’architettura imprime sul luogo in cui viene costruita e il modo in cui viene fisicamente realizzato questo piano orizzontale, che a sua volta articola tali relazioni. Every architecture needs a support on which to rest on the ground; this requires a series of possible strategies depending on how we develop the final relationship between the architecture and the ground plane. This contribution analyses this relationship by considering three different aspects: the practical necessity of performing our activities as human beings on a horizontal plane; the transformations that architecture impresses on the place where it is built; and the physical construction of the horizontal plane, which in turn influences these relationships.
