CONTRO LA RIMOZIONE DELLA VIA DEI FORI IMPERIALI

The demolition of the 'Via dei Fori imperiali', the magnificent and scenographic axis conceived for the post­Unitarian Rame, is -ot least since forty years- among the targets of the supporters of the Fori proiect, often motivated by a logic of researching electoral consensus. The paper seeks to demonstrote the cultural illegitimacy of such a view and, at on the controry, intends to highlight its originai quality and high potentiality to regenerate the lost public space.
