The purpose of this paper is to present the results of a numerical investigation on the predictive capability of some of the commonly used failure criteria available in the literature and in FE commercial codes, when applied to the analysis of the Delamination Threshold Load (DTL) in multi-layered composite plates subjected to low-velocity impacts.
