The paper presents evidence from a staff development project implemented by Politecnico di Torino in 2017. The project was an institutional activity aimed at promoting and enhancing teaching competences of junior faculty. Theoretical and methodological strategies, training model and approach are described as well as results from evaluative research carried out to identify participants’ satisfaction about specific program dimensions and to investigate changes of teaching perspectives as a result of the program. Results are discussed and interpreted, highlighting elements and identifying areas of improvement for a future edition of the program.
