Isothermal measurements of magnetic anisotropy and electrical resistivity have been performed on a Fe78B13Si9 ribbon to investigate the process of crystallization at T = 713 K. The transformed volume fraction and its composition (Fe88Si12) have been determined from electrical resistivity data and X-ray diffractometry. The behaviour of the uniaxial anisotropy constant with annealing time may be explained in terms of a progressive change in the effective shape anisotropy of the crystalline products.

Abstract
Isothermal measurements of magnetic anisotropy and electrical resistivity have been performed on a Fe78B13Si9 ribbon to investigate the process of crystallization at T = 713 K. The transformed volume fraction and its composition (Fe88Si12) have been determined from electrical resistivity data and X-ray diffractometry. The behaviour of the uniaxial anisotropy constant with annealing time may be explained in terms of a progressive change in the effective shape anisotropy of the crystalline products.Pubblicazioni consigliate
