A feedback technique has been developed to perform permeability relaxation measurements at constant magnetic induction in amorphous ferromagnetic ribbons. The features of the feedback system are summarized. The viscosity field acting on 180-degrees domain walls is directly obtained by measuring the external field changes needed to keep constant B. The experimental data are compared with the predictions of viscosity field theories.
