Conclusion: Spatial governance and planning policy transfer in the Global South. Towards a research agenda

This edited volume offers a critical and novel contribution to the debate on the transfer and recirculation of spatial governance and planning practices in the Global South. Across six chapters, the contributors have explored the mechanisms, drivers, and actors involved in the circulation of policy knowledge, moving beyond a simplistic view of unidirectional North-to-South transfer to highlight the nuances of South-South mobilities and the complex process of policy transfer and translation (Blanc et al., 2023).
