The chapter proposes a novel framework aiming at integrating restorative justice into natural resources management. The framework combines "responsive regulation" theory (Ayres and Braithwaite, 1992) and the "participatory and integrated planning" procedure (Soncini-Sessa et al., 2007). We argue that an integrated approach could prove effective in correcting existing biases in natural resources management problems. We present a case-study application in rural Sub-Saharan Africa.

Abstract
The chapter proposes a novel framework aiming at integrating restorative justice into natural resources management. The framework combines "responsive regulation" theory (Ayres and Braithwaite, 1992) and the "participatory and integrated planning" procedure (Soncini-Sessa et al., 2007). We argue that an integrated approach could prove effective in correcting existing biases in natural resources management problems. We present a case-study application in rural Sub-Saharan Africa.Pubblicazioni consigliate
