Terra e Memoria. La salvaguardia dei centri storici in terra in America Latina

The urban pressure in the megalopolis of Latin America is problematic for the preservation of historical urban heritage. In several cities, historical earthen heritage is often considered as minor, thus having fewer safeguarding practices. The aim of this contribution is to understand the lack of recognition of earthen heritage in the Latin American case studies, to propose hybrid guidelines between top-down actions and heritage-making processes.
