Through a comparison between the patrons’ aspirations and the state of abandonment in which the project lies, the study highlights the impact that the process of Olivetti’s loss of identity has had on the architectural heritage and on the territory.

Abstract
The research aims to investigate the industrial complex of Scarmagno (Vittoria, Zanuso, 1962- 1988), considering the regional development project of which it is part (Astengo, 1961).
