The San Victorino square in Bogotá, with its Mariposa monument, is a meeting place characterized by lively informal commerce, an integral part of Colombian social and cultural fabric. The idea of lowering the square and covering it with a double level would not only allow for better management of pedestrian flow but also for the preservation and enhancement of existing informal commerce. These activities, reflecting the rich diversity of Colombian culture, could find space on the lower level, thus maintaining their identity and contributing to the vibrancy of the place. At the same time, the upper level, with its green cover and socialization areas, would offer an inviting environment for residents and visitors alike. This approach would reconcile the needs of commerce and social interaction, creating a square that not only reflects local identity but also promotes social cohesion and urban well-being.

Abstract
This approach would reconcile the needs of commerce and social interaction, creating a square that not only reflects local identity but also promotes social cohesion and urban well-being.Pubblicazioni consigliate
