The paper deals with the therapeutic value of Cultural Heritage in cases of post-conflict recovery. Starting from the evidence on the relationship between cultural heritage and health, the paper focuses on experiences of participatory activities in archaeological sites as a means to counteract the sense of isolation, anxiety and loss and other post-traumatic effects caused by war conflicts.
