Performance assessment methods and tools are used to evaluate the operational and energy efficiency of buildings and to identify potential improvements and areas for further investigation. Emphasis is given to the modelling of resilient cooling technologies and strategies. The chapter also provides a framework for the selection of input and output parameters used in the simulation and assessment.
