Conclusion: Ten Good Reasons to Foster an Innovative Vision of Agrarian Urbanism in Europe

This book is a point of initiation and convergence of several disciplines that share the interests of studies and research centred on planning, management and enhancement of agricultural and rural landscapes. The authors of this book have extensively underscored these mutual relations, showing that a new alliance that addressed the emerging issues of cities and the environment around us is possible. In this chapter the author shall attempt to justify this perspective by discussing some key issues and the ideas behind this vision.
