Il paesaggio dell’industria del cemento nel Monferrato casalese: documentazione digitale tramite strumenti Gis e modelli 3D densi per la valorizzazione integrata

The landscape dimension of the industrial heritage and its territorial relations, as well as the ways of conservation and valorization of the human-made territory, also of different meanings, require more and more knowledge activities and documentation deeply integrated, based on conscious planning of interdisciplinary research lines. As for the initial analysis phase, the use of an integrated methodological approach involving the creation and management of geographic-numerical information of 3D type through advanced techniques of survey and spatialization of data typical of geomatics, as well as information database management, it can now present itself as an added value in documentation and cataloging projects. The contribution presents an integrated experimental workflow based on the use of terrestrial LIDAR techniques (Light Detection and Ranging), terrestrial photogrammetric and UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle), declined on the specific needs of the sites examined. The landscape considered, in the Monferrato Piemontese, is the territory of Casalese, characterized by a rich and widespread architectural heritage of industrial archeology linked to the presence in the landscape and local identity, the cement works and the signs of the infrastructure of the territory linked to the related activities.
