Incertezza/Incompiutezza

When thinking of Zakynthos, it’s easy to think of uncertainty. In fact, its inhabitants know that feeling of instability, all too well, which is an instable way of living, characterised by constant and conti nuous ground’s tremors. This place, hit by a series of destructions, describes its grief through the concreteness of things and it always lets us perceive «a distance between a missing past and a present and incomplete feeling» (Augè, 2003). In describing Zante through its incomplete spaces, we can also take reflect on what traces tell a story of uncertainty.
