This chapter explains the frame of the book, presenting the contents that are deepened in the various chapters, identifying the main steps of the BIM workflow to adopt innovative representation language based on graphical and alphanumerical information. For an integrated reading of these aspects, a model scheme has been prepared that allows the corresponding areas of interest to be highlighted. This scheme mainly composed of three sections: Inputs data; ii) BIM Engine; iii) Outputs data. Within the scheme, both model uses and the main actors involved are indicated. Through this representation it is, therefore, possible to read the diagram from bottom to top, identifying the BIM engine products according to actors and their needs.

Abstract
This chapter explains the frame of the book, presenting the contents that are deepened in the various chapters, identifying the main steps of the BIM workflow to adopt innovative representation language based on graphical and alphanumerical information. For an integrated reading of these aspects, a model scheme has been prepared that allows the corresponding areas of interest to be highlighted. This scheme mainly composed of three sections: Inputs data; ii) BIM Engine; iii) Outputs data. Within the scheme, both model uses and the main actors involved are indicated. Through this representation it is, therefore, possible to read the diagram from bottom to top, identifying the BIM engine products according to actors and their needs.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
