Abstract
Visual programming identifies the capacity to construct programming relationship using a graphical interface. Thank to the use of packing nodes and assemble custom relation algorithm is able to assemble custom relationship. This means that the designer can exploit computational design potentiality without the need to write code. Computational design is a powerful concept, it has had an incredible impact into the AEC sector, because it allows to customize process automating an iterative algorithm process. In this way, the designer have the possibility to create new relationships and use the output of these relationship to generate new ones. So, geometrical form can be modified on the basis of solar incidence, sound propagation or structural performance and so on. Moreover, computational design increase the control framework on the design process thank to the capacity of working with geometrical and not geometrical information. In this chapter, the computational design was exploited to model a road infrastructure using Revit and Dynamo.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
