Abstract
The term "Landscape" has plastic or liquid qualities: it can be modeled and deformed. Yet at the same time landscape is the territory on which the humankind, since its appearance on the earth, has confronted its environment. For this reason, the ways of interpreting landscape are almost infinite. Some of them are contained in this book. The article is a book review of "Sites Unseen: Landscape and Vision", edited by Dianne Harris and D.Fairchild Ruggles (University of Pittsburgh Press, 2007, ISBN 0-8229-4308-5).Pubblicazioni consigliate
