Since human visual recognition is based on several phases which go from detection of lines and borders, to mental images used for the recognition of the object, this analysis is aiming to answer to the following points: - does a facade present several levels of interpretation? What happens if we subdivide a facade in layers of understaing going from its bigger elements to the smaller ones? - can we recognize an order in it? Can we define which elements create unity and which ones determine variety?

Abstract
Since human visual recognition is based on several phases which go from detection of lines and borders, to mental images used for the recognition of the object, this analysis is aiming to answer to the following points: - does a facade present several levels of interpretation? What happens if we subdivide a facade in layers of understaing going from its bigger elements to the smaller ones? - can we recognize an order in it? Can we define which elements create unity and which ones determine variety?Pubblicazioni consigliate
