The period considered regards 1949 as the starting point when an embryonic Olivetti sales outlet was taking shape in Mexico City, and 1968, the year of the XIX Olympic Games, as the final date. By 1968 the company had reached the peak of its fame in Mexico after a continuous growth in terms of turnover and sales of writing and computing products.
