Rileggere un Paesaggio. La Natura delle Langhe fra Tutela e Letteratura

The essay suggests a double reading of the same region, the landscape of the Langhe territory, in Piedmont, Italy. This dual review, on the one hand it will use the tools of protection, enhanced by the recent inclusion of the site in the World Heritage List, on the other it will try to "read" the landscape through literary sources, unnoticed by Unesco but representative of the whole region. Through this operation, the paper aims to reflect on issues related to places authenticity and uniqueness, in order to improve landscape comprehension and conservation.
