This paper aims at describing the last achievements obtained by the H2020 STRATOFLY project in the field of the Thermal and Energy Management. In particular, the paper describes the status of the activities related to the static and dynamic modelling of the Thermal and Energy Management Subsystem currently installed on-board the vehicle. In addition to that, the paper demonstrates that a wider range of high-speed vehicles, including reusable access to space systems can benefit from the introduction of this crucial technology.

Abstract

This paper aims at describing the last achievements obtained by the H2020 STRATOFLY project in the field of the Thermal and Energy Management. In particular, the paper describes the status of the activities related to the static and dynamic modelling of the Thermal and Energy Management Subsystem currently installed on-board the vehicle. In addition to that, the paper demonstrates that a wider range of high-speed vehicles, including reusable access to space systems can benefit from the introduction of this crucial technology.
