Mantle cloaking of a metallic cylinder through a width modulated microstrip line metasurface is presented. The considered unit cell consists of a sinusoidally shaped profile printed on a dielectric substrate. The maximum height of the profile within a constant footprint unit cell is varied aiming to examine its effect on the field scattered by the cylinder described in terms of the Radar Cross Section.
