The development of Building Information Modelling (BIM) for existing buildings is becoming increasingly important. The contribution is focused on the application of innovative methods of survey and BIM modelling to a real case study: a chapel located inside a devotional complex located in Piedmont (Italy). Was evaluated the point clouds survey as a basis for the modelling step and the connection of the BIM model to a database for management of the maintenance and restoration of architectural heritage.

Abstract
