Abstract

As the title suggests, the aim of this study is a story-telling. But unlike what often happens, it is meant to combine words with the entire information system set up to make such storytelling richer. We refer to the troubled past (and perhaps even more uncertain!) of V Pavilion of Torino Esposizioni, designed by Riccardo Morandi at the end of the Fifties. Moreover, we refer to the scope of its previous uses, taking into account the various vicissitudes that have involved. In order to do this, we make use of archival and photographic documentation that belong to some private founds. showing different proposed alternative design solutions. This is possible thank to a BIM modeling approach and the setting up of a database that is directly related to it. These data were semantically organized and made available for future interventions, not least the international design competition -currently underway- that involves the entire complex exhibition, though to restore luster to a valuable work of modern architecture.
