Archivio Istituzionale della RicercaThe paper proposes an architecture to develop a dynamic flight simulator based on a three d.o.f. parallel platform. The solution is proposed in order to make it possible to assemble an instrument that could be applied both for entertainment or for non professional pilot training. The paper describes the layout and its main component, the 3 d.o.f. parallel kinematic moving platform. The motions cueing algorithm is disclosed and finally the results obtained in the simulation of an example manoeuvre are shown.
