Archivio Istituzionale della RicercaIn this work, the project of the motorcycle of the Politecnico di Torino which took part in the Motostudent 2009-2010 will be exposed. Motostudent is a spanish initiative, similar to the Formula Student for cars, in which a group of students must design a grand prix motorcycle. The project is primarily concerned with the construction of the chassis and suspension systems. The design choices made and the methodologies used for the analysis that led to the first italian prototype of this series will be shown. In particular, those aspects which introduce interesting and innovative solutions in mechanical design will be emphasized.

Abstract
